Alati Educational Solutions is our main focus. Our new lines of software for Educational establishments include Latiroc OS, Latinet and RegisterMe.
- Latiroc OS provides a clean, functional, friendly environment for use on school or university computer systems. While it allows students and teachers to access exactly what they require and to explore the educational environment in novel ways, it is very secure and prevents system abuse. Latiroc OS includes several apps - an internet browser (LatiBrowse), a media player (Alati Media Player), a PDF Viewer, an office suite (LatiWrite/LatiCalc/LatiPresent), Education Centre and many more custom built programs. External programs and new apps can also be easily and securely integrated into the Latiroc OS shell by IT staff.
The Education Centre provides a means of storing and retrieving vast amounts of educational resources, both internally at institutions or from our vast database of information. These resources can range from lesson plans for teachers to interactive quizes for student revision.
VICI technology can be selected to provide a virtually intelligent assistant for users. It can tell you the time at intervals or on request, read back your work to you, remind you of tasks, tell you who is singing the song you are currently listening to, announce when you have a new email or read out any message you give it. The speech abilities of LatiSpeak are customisable with your own phonetic pronunciations and are updated centrally through the Core Updater. LatiSpeak is integrated into many of the other products included in Latiroc OS such as LatiWrite and LatiCalc.
- Latinet and LatiCloud is our online education environment, media distribution system, app and music store. Students and teachers can access a wide range of educational content from revision guides to lesson plans from anywhere with an internet connection using their Latinet account. LatiCloud stores all user settings, documents, favourites. Users can log into Latiroc OS using their LatiCloud account and all the Latiroc Apps sync to the cloud automatically. Effectively if a workstation permits Guest User access, any LatiCloud user can log into any workstation and have everything right there and ready to go like their own desktop.
- RegisterMe, included in Latiroc OS or as a standalone product, is Alati Enterprises unique and intuitive registration solution. Designed primarily for classrooms equiped with a touchscreen whiteboard or similar system. It allows students to register (either for morning or afternoon school or for classes) by simply reaching out and touching their school photo. RegisterMe provides statistics for teachers, ranging from attendance to average entry times. RegisterMe allows tasks to be set for students as they come into the classroom enabling teaching to begin without the need for the entire class to be present. It will also warn students when they are late and inform teachers of this.
Alati Software Solutions is our new branch providing unique software solutions to businesses and organisations. These range from database software solutions to secure encrypted communications. Each software solution is fully tailored to our client's needs and they are consulted at every stage of production. Support and technical changes are included for a year at no extra charge, extended support is on a pay-as-you-go scheme or on an annual contract.
